Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Nawart ("Nawart", "we", "us") and the website and service at nawart-eg.com (and nawart.pages.dev) (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Nawart is
Nawart is a restaurant discovery and reservation facilitation platform for Egypt. We help you find restaurants and prepare and send reservation requests to them through channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram, OpenTable, and SevenRooms. Nawart is not the restaurant and does not own, operate, or control any venue listed.
2. Reservations
- A reservation request you send through Nawart is a request to the restaurant; it is not confirmed until the restaurant accepts it.
- We do not guarantee table availability, pricing, hours, or that any restaurant will honour a request.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you submit (date, time, party size, contact, etc.).
3. Payments
Nawart does not charge diners for basic booking, and we do not currently process any payments through the Service. If features such as no-show deposits are introduced in future, they will be governed by additional terms presented to you at that time.
4. Your account
- You may use Nawart as a guest, or sign in with a supported provider (e.g. Google).
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by submitting false reservations, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, infringing others' rights, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on and links to third parties (including Google, Supabase, Cloudflare, WhatsApp, Instagram, OpenTable, and SevenRooms) and to restaurants' own pages and menus. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their terms.
7. Intellectual property
Restaurant names, logos, menus, and photographs belong to their respective owners and are used with permission or by link. The Nawart name, wordmark, and the design of the Service are ours. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. During the prototype phase in particular, listings and details are illustrative and may be inaccurate or incomplete. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nawart and its founder will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any issue arising from a restaurant's acts or omissions, a missed or declined reservation, or your use of third-party channels.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we make changes.
